Suffolk artist painting from plein air sketches and memories of viewing the ever-changing landscapes. An early art education at Hornsey School of Art and a lifetime of looking and drawing ignite my artwork. Copious sketchbooks, from travels both in the UK and Australia; remembered effects of light, movement and feelings pour onto the canvas back in my studio. After teaching art at secondary schools, I returned to my own education to complete an MA in Fine Art in 2017. Now I simply paint from the heart; celebrating the beauty of the world. I exhibit locally and further afield, but my garden studio is my haven, where visitors are always most welcome to chat and browse.
