Val is a painter, experimenting with mixed media and printmaking but drawing is an important starting point. Val has exhibited at Art Station; Art Fair East; Minories, Colchester; Sentinel Gallery, Wivenhoe,; Apex Gallery, Bury St Edmund's; Halesworth Gallery; Prettys Art, Ipswich; Ipswich School of Art; Waterfront Gallery, Ipswich; Caroline Wiseman Modern and Contemporary, Aldeburgh, Suffolk; Truman Brewery, London and elsewhere and has a solo exhibition at the Freudian Sheep Gallery, Ipswich. She also offers short courses or private tuition and is a full member of the Suffolk Open Studios from Firbank, Acton Lane, Sudbury, Suffolk.
